Great post! What do you think the news out of Japan means that they are going to

HUNT FIN WHALES AGAIN AFTER 5-YEAR HIATUS

?

The most modern decode for whales I'm aware of is in reference to "mass-consumer" entities.

For example, in MMORPGs a "Whale" is a player that buys almost anything that the game has to offer -- all the microtransaction content. They scoop them all up, like a whale, and are responsible for the lion's share of value in the microtransaction stores.

The same can be said for millionaires/billionaires. High rollers and rich tourists, really.

Whale Comms in Japan would imply, to me, that they are opening the doors for schmoozing big money spenders so they can pad their currency a bit and keep their luxury goods market alive. Things like "if you move here you don't have to pay taxes for half a decade, so long as you buy a lot of luxury goods and keep our markets alive!"

"Luxury goods" have a tie-in to whale oil, ambergris for perfumes, and other such items made from carved whale bone.

There is one sub-genre where the comms have completely gone off a cliff… Vaccine injury coverups. Just in the last 2 months alone, we’ve had bat-shit ridiculous democide cover stories for the untimely strokes and heart attacks, including:

Sleeping with the blinds open

Car headlights

Sunbathing

Fruit & veg

Accelerated aging

Dropping out of high school

Past greatest hits include:

Smoking weed

Climate change

Shovelling snow

Referee whistles

Gardening

Winter vagina

Taking a shower

Blow dryers

Farts

Or the fucknuts have a sense of humor.

All these stories are running over each other and piling up like a long list of unfinished side quests. Very entertaining but disconcerting as well. Love the idea that there is comms for bad comms (?), though it did not ping my radar. Saw some older (2021) articles comparing coffee emissions to beef and cheese emissions.
