When I saw the point about McDonald's, the first thing that popped in my mind was the comms. ;)
This whole thing is too neatly wrapped in a bow while stinking to the high heavens. I think you are correct- this story isn't over, and I do think a message was being sent.
(Before this happened, if you had done a search on who the UHC CEO was, you would have not seen the name Brian Thompson come up first- it would have been his boss, Andrew Witty, who made twice as much. Thompson was a divisional CEO. But the headline is always THE UNITEDHEALTH CEO and his name is kind of an afterthought a few paragraphs down We have been in an age of CEO worship - Jaime, Elon, Zuck, Jack - you know who they are. No one says Brian.)
I spent a lot pf years in the insurance space. I asked a friend of mine yesterday who works for an insurance agency that has a large employee benefits division. Her company overall has 6K employees so they carry some weight at the carrier. I asked what did UHC put out to the field. She said they haven't said a word. Which is really weird, because the relationships between home office personnel and agency leadershio/field are pretty close.
SD - was in the car and heard something and wanted to see what you thought. The news blurb was about McDonald's and the layoffs - I think the number was 6K overall. Blame on the $20 minimum wage in CA (and elsewhere) and the potential for AI. Maybe I have too much tin foil on, but with everything going on, it was kind of an odd little story to run. Any thoughts? (Are the layoffs in intelligence?)
This is definitely one of my blind spots. Numbers aren't my realm of expertise. I've tried, but I truly believe that I do not have the aptitude to discern numbers. It's for someone else to manage.
As for the report, sans the numbers, I think it's fair to assume that, yes, intelligence agencies are gonna have layoffs. That's what DOGE is.
BEWARE OF DOG is going to be a buzz phrase soon. Probably lots of memes with signs of it inexplicably coming about.
All that said, McDonalds is suffering. Those layoffs are real, not just Comms. What's more is that they're just the start. ALL Fast Food franchises are not long for this world, if we are on the best timeline. It goes beyond RFK Jr.
Time... Time is going to change. The repercussions are beyond belief. The last few centuries have involved some very special "magic" that have robbed us of time by slowing down the proper flow of technological progress. I'm speaking metaphorically, don't get too excited.
Consider it in these terms...
When we discovered fire, we declared war on the night.
When we discovered electricity, namely the light bulb, we conquered the night.
Now that we have taken domain of the night, no one is allowed to "sleep" anymore. Slaves used to have the solace in knowing when the sun went down they could finally rest. Now, with the light bulb, we must toil through the night. Slaves are no longer slaves just half the day. They're slaves 24-7.
We're worse off than ever before.
This "light bulb" and "magic" I'm referring to is actually what the Illuminati worship -- the Artificial Sun to replace the old. Light, fully controlled by those who are most powerful in the dark. What was next to conquer was the sun itself. That's the premise of the "Dark Millenia", when the slave master could always determine when it was time for the slave to toil, day or night. There's a serious and symbolic hopelessness to the depth of that control schema.
Fast Food is just a symptom of the disease which is none other than the Artificial Sun which keeps the slaves from ever being able to sleep.

A new form of time approaches...
Thx!
