Something every wealthy and crooked person eventually wishes for is to stay wealthy and crooked indefinitely; to escape the coils of death and live forever. Honest people, by contrast, often just wish to die knowing they left the world in a better place than before they got there.
These two people are not the same.
So, there comes a time in a wealthy and crooked person’s life where immortality is really seeming like an impossibility. They’re old, have tons of money, power, and followers, but every day they spend untold quantities trying to research a way to eek out just another day. The clock is ticking, however, and every minute spent on trying to do the impossible is a minute they otherwise could have spent with loved ones and not being a crooked son of a bitch.
Which is why, eventually, they settle for second-best to the whole immortality ideal. They redefine immortality and just go ahead and go with plan-B.
Before we get to plan-B, let’s first demonstrate how there are three forms of immortality. The first form is bodily immortality. The second is conscious immortality. The third is the immortal legacy.
In other words, we are beings composed of a mind, body and soul. The soul is immortal by default, unless you piss God off enough that he forgets you ever existed, in which case there wouldn’t be a trace left to test whether or not a soul is immortal. It is in my opinion that God has never resorted to forgetting anything because everything he did decide to make was with love.
That said, there’s plenty that we’ve forgotten as a species. Do you remember everything you’ve made? Not so easy, is it?
Anyways, back to the three forms of immortality.
You got a body, which is the first thing people think about when seeking immortality. They want that body to not die. Not get old. Not whither away and return to dust. Well, that may well be possible if we ever manage to tinker with DNA and get good at replacing damaged ends of chromosomes, but that doesn’t ensure immortality of the mind. Your mind will eventually fade away. Many fictional works surrounding the topic ultimately declare that an immortal being will eventually become bored with life. The body lives on, but their mind starts down the path of insanity and loneliness as they get to see everyone they love die before them, and then despair as they look upon a world that’s left them behind. Though preserving their bodies, they eventually lose a battle to preserve their mind, where the natural course of life is to be born, live, die, and be reborn according to the seasons.
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. In the winter time we are reborn in the mind, as we reflect on all the lessons of the year. We prepare for winter in all the other seasons, and then take the winter to do a little introspection. If you cut off the fall, the death and harvest phase, you’ll have nothing to source for inspiration while you sit on your butt in front of a warm fire.
Removing the fall from the seasons doesn’t stop time from moving on, it just leaves you with no time to prepare for the winter.
Immortality breaks the process in every way, from the big to the small. Every year becomes like every other year, and lessons you’ve learned begin to collect dust until you just don’t anymore. You end up doing nothing. You’ll have an immortal body, but your mind ceases to live.
Okay, enough of the front-load, let’s get to their imitation “immortality.”
The Immortal Contract
Take a quick look at this joke segment from Dave Chappelle.
“To use your name and likeness in perpetuity throughout the universe.”
Strange way to put it, aye?
This is an example of a regretful immortal. Dave Chappelle is IMMORTAL. Technically, he cannot die. Contractually, he agreed to that. His lawyers convinced him it would be fine, with no ill effects.
Even if he bodily dies, his legacy will live on indefinitely. His mind will have been made up by gaggles of lawyers, writers, and corporate sleazes. They can use his image, his voice, his works, and his life as written to do with as they please.
This is the Cabal’s plan-B for “immortality.”
With DeepFakes, AI and Computer Graphics, they can even summon projections of you up on stage like they’ve talked about doing with Michael Jackson. It’s, in no short form, a sort of necromancy at that point, whose nefarious contract was signed long ago. Plan-B immortality is not that you can’t die, it’s that you aren’t allowed to die. “Your likeness” means they can plaster your face on any poster, put words in your mouth, attach you to properties you will have loathed in life, and parade your lifeless corpse around like a weekend at Bernie’s.
All for the low, low price of your immortal soul. Your legacy. Your honor and dignity. You acquire an immortal body, technically, but you will lose control of your legacy in the process.
You trade one part of your life for another…
Equivalent Exchange, as it is called.
They can even use body doubles, like Elvis Impersonators, to make a mockery of you well beyond your wishes.
All this too applies not only in media, but in politics.
Yes, that’s right, each politician has signed the very same contract. They are all “immortal” beings. Which is why they can’t be arrested, can’t be killed, and are free from ever facing the repercussions for their actions. Because they’ve been immortalized as a corporate trust of individuals. They’ve bound their image and likeness, like Dave Chappelle, to a corporate trust which bears their name. An incorporeal stack of paper takes your soul, like a lich’s phylactery, and while your body might wither away you will live forever in the signature and fine print you signed which bears everything you once were.
Others bearing your phylactery contract can go on and perform “your” will.
This is how they’ve skirted and redefined immortality. To swap your body out with a “corporate” body. Corporate, in latin, means “to be shaped into a body, body” after all.
Turns out, necromancy is real. It just doesn’t have all the green lights, smoke, and crypt keepers involved.
It’s all just business, at the end of the day…
“An aging, out-of-work actress accepts one last job, though the consequences of her decision affect her in ways she didn't consider.“
